Westie Wednesday - Collar Edition



I entered a giveaway to win one of these cute collars for Louis:






I didn't win :( The collars cost $24 - $26 each. I still want Louis to have one.


You may remember that he already has this handsome harness and lead set:




It has red seersucker, navy ribbon and white westies all over it :) Louis adores his summer harness and lead.

Louis' collar is very handsome too! It is plaid. Because he is Scottish, of course. His Nana gave it to him :)

But, I'm wondering if something more fitting for Spring/Summer may be needed. Is a tartan collar too "wintery" for my pup this Spring/Summer?

What is your "go to" shop for dog collars?

    I don't really do collars anymore but Buddy does have one from NOLA Couture but that's it. He has several harnesses I bought Bella Bean. He has to be on a harness b/c he pulls and even the vet said the other day that it's good I keep him on that.

    I know you'll probably be shocked, but Spencer has a Pecan Pie Puppies color. :-) My vote is for the seersucker bowtie.

    Right now Nova either sports a "VillaNOVA" collar and lead in honor of her namesake from her mom-mom for casual days or she wears a peacock feather print collar and lead when she is feeling sophisticated :) I also love the one with the seersucker bowtie :)

    Hey there beautiful - I have had good luck using "Trendy Puppy" for Jolie - really cute stuff - although the seersucker bow tie is, um, TO DIE FOR!

    There's a store here in Charleston called 'Hairy Winston'. It has THE BEST collars! And treats. We bought Cooper a pupcake (yep, you heard right!) a few months ago and it was so pretty!

    I hate to admit to my cheapness but Duke's collar came from the dollar store...lol I've actually been thinking about getting him a harness instead of a collar though.
    I love that one with the bow tie on it. Louis would look smashing in it.
