Sick Bunny :(

I'm feeling a bit under the weather today :(

I think I've got the beginnings of a cold, and I simply haven't the time for it!  My head is stuffy, my body is achy, I've got chills...but, I'm warm to the touch.  And NOW....my throat is a bit sore.  Booooo....

The Voice of Reason and Mr. Swiss were married in Bermuda recently.  Their "reception" is this Saturday at the private Skull & Bones men's club in Smalltown, VA.  I have been honored by being asked to serve as one of The Voice of Reason's "non-bridesmaids".  I will be wearing a little something special to celebrate that, AND...I will be feeling 100% healthy!

DO YOU HEAR THAT COLD?  YOU JUST GO ON AWAY RIGHT NOW.  THERE IS NO PLACE FOR YOU IN MY LIFE RIGHT NOW.  GO AWAY!

I was planning to attend a little event after work today, and I wore a presh little outfit just in case I change my mind.  However, I think that going home and snuggling up with the pups is probably a much wiser idea.  Especially since he's all nice and clean now :)  We had "bath time" last night.  Bath time is always an experience, and this time it was no exception.

I went out to dinner with some friends, and got home around 9:30 or so.  I was determined that Louis would have his bath, but he had already begun to fall asleep and was a bit groggy.  I thought that perhaps this would be a GOOD thing?  Perhaps he wouldn't be so feisty?

WRONG.

Let's just say that my entire outfit ended up in the dryer.  All of my towels were used in an attempt to mop up the bathroom, which was covered in water from floor to ceiling.  The groomer swears Louis "just loves" to be bathed.  I envision him looking a bit like this when they bathe him:

What am I doing wrong?  Bath time at our house resembles something more along these lines:

Perhaps I need to employ these tactics:

I wish I had had the presence of mind to take photos of all of the nonsense that took place during bath time, but it didn't occur to me to do so.  I'm sure you understand.

Anyway, I'm struggling to keep myself focused at work since I feel so badly today.  I just found myself wondering how comfortable the oriental rug on my office floor would be for taking a little nap.  Hmmmm.....

I hope you feel better!! I'm in that awkward not quite sick, not totally healthy stage. I've been chugging OJ like my life depends on it.
I definitely know about bath time. Holly was never a fan and it generally looked like a wrestling match between the two of us.

Bath time is hard for us too.

Oh Sweetie, I'm so sorry you're sick! No fun at all. Get lots of rest, drink lots of water and take a few hot baths... that always helps me! ;-)

Oh, and did you put your location info in at LOCATION CENTRAL yet? It's the blog where you find other bloggers in your area.

Hope you feel better soon. I think going home and curling up with Louis sounds like a good plan.

That is exactly where I was at yesterday. And I did lie down on the floor of my office, no joke.

Feel better!!! I had a very short-lived cold earlier this week. You'll be better in no time to be a non-bridesmaid. xoxo

Feel better soon. Even though it stink, it's always best to rest when you're not feeling well, instead of overdoing it.

Low Sodium V8. Pound it! As much as you can humanly drink. Your skin will look fabulous and it will fight off your cold. And if you're at work, mixing in vodka will most likely be frowned upon.

And I had to quit bathing the Beans at home. I don't have the strength to clean up the mess when we're done.

How are you feeling? When I was sick a few weeks ago, you said it seemed like everyone was sick except for you! Sorry it caught up with you :( I hope you're feeling better so you can enjoy your weekend! xo

You poor sick bunny :( Hope you feel better soon! I'm with you on the 'bathtime' thing, it's such an ordeal whenever I try to give my two puppies a bath! My bathroom gets FLOODED. PS- Thanks so much for putting my blog on your sidebar! xoxox

Oh poor thing I hope you feel better soon! Oh and on another note I can totally relate to Bath Time being an EXPERIENCE! Duncan acts like he is being drowned and fights for his life... poor thing it breaks my heart to see him so terrified BUT as soon as the bath is over he struts around all happy and proud and playful as if to say "Look at me ... I am all handsome and clean and fluffy!" meanwhile I am soaked and the bathroom is a disaster area! HA!
