**Side note...do you know that MK is mrs.mfc? Hmmm...I'll bet some of you didn't :) See, I've always called her MK. And then she went and got married and changed her name and such. Hence the mrs.mfc. So whatever. That's who I'm talking about.**
Moving right along....
There were some games you could play at the cocktail crawl. Games for prizes!! Of course BFF and I wanted to enter. We missed Pin the Tail on the Rudolph.
But, we were just in time for Wrap the Package!
Lucky me ended up being "the package". I can't imagine how that happened?!?! Regardless, we didn't win :(
Now...hop forward to last night! It was a cold and blustery night. Babbo Natale and I had plans to get together to catch up. And to exchange Christmas presents :) We decided that since it was something like 20 degrees outside, we would put on our comfies and enjoy some wine in front of the fire at my house! What a lovely evening.
Babbo Natale gave me the most lovely gifts. First, this presh ornament:
Can you tell what it is?? IT'S A FUR COAT!! Babbo Natale and I love to act fancy and wear our furs to cocktails and such. So, she bought me a mini-fur coat for my Christmas Tree. Isn't she clever?
My other gift was a FANCY candle from the shops in horse country. Babbo Natale is from Kentucky. She frequents all of those fancy shmancy horse shops in Lexington and such, and she always spoils me rotten with prizes from those shops. This year she gave me the most delicious candle. The flavor is Whisky Sour. Why Whisky Sour flavored, you ask? Well, simmer down and I'll tell you.
Babbo Natale remembered that once upon a time (last year) I declared that I was going to begin drinking Whisky.
I felt that it would be more grown up looking than drinking Miller Lite. I really did plan to start drinking it. Just to switch things up a bit. Wine and whisky. That was the plan. I was probably going to buy a mug like this to drink out of:
But, as is the case with many of my good ideas.....it never came to fruition. BUT...Babbo Natale didn't forget :) See what makes her such a fabulous friend? She never forgets these things. Whenever I forget what I planned to start drinking, I simply call Babbo Natale to inquire. And she can always remember.
On top of all of those LOVELY Christmas prizes, Louis and I had another Christmas surprise last night. When I got home from work there was the most lovely package waiting on the front porch for us!!
Oh La La! So many fun prizes :)
But...you will have to wait to until Westie Wednesday tomorrow to hear what was in this box of prizes...AND...to hear about Louis' trip to the vet today for his check up!
I will tell you that my little man officially weighs in at 19lbs. I guess he's not such a "little man" anymore, is he?
