I am going to do a lame-o post for Westie Wednesday.
I'm sorry :(
Louis went to the vet for his 1 year check up. Louis currently weighs 19lbs. Chublet!!
(remember this picture of the SIZE M t-shirt???? Sheesh!!)
(whatever happened to this little muffin? it was just yesterday...)
Dr. Brown said that he was just perfect, and the cutest westie she ever did see. He preened and pranced when he heard that. When we got home, Louis scolded me for not sending the vet a Christmas card with his photo on it. Bad, bad mummy. So, I stopped doing what I needed to do and corrected that error. A card is en route as we speak. Louis is pleased :)
When I came home yesterday evening I had to rush off to Zumba. Only a minute to let Louis out to make potty. Then, off I went! Back home an hour later to wrap some gifts for needy children (and to snuggle with Louis for 1.5 seconds) and then back out to the door to a meeting. Louis was feeling very neglected. He is going to feel very neglected again today, but that's okay.
Yes. That's okay. Let me tell you why! Smalltown, VA has a very exciting forecast for the next few days.
(i completely stole this way of writing snow from City Dreamer ;)
So, I'm packing up the laptop and borrowing a friend's 4-wheel drive so that I won't be completely stranded when we get 4-5 inches of snow. Now, I know what many of you are thinking. Go ahead. Laugh. But I drive a Benz. It's rear wheel drive. It refuses to move in 1/2 inch of snow. So, precautions must be taken!
And when it snows here in Smalltown, VA, people become incompetent drivers. And I don't want to end up in a ditch because a bad driver hit me. So, I choose to work from home. With the puppy in my lap.
So that's all that is going on here in our little world at the moment. I've got cooking classs tonight, and we are making Pho. Mmmmmmmmmmmm Mmmmmmmmmmmm Good is all I can say about that!
Hoping for Snow & Eating Pho,
