I'm a day early for once!
Tomorrow I'm leaving 1/2 day to celebrate at a little Christmas luncheon. "The Girls With Pearls" will be gathering for a lazy afternoon full of food and cocktails.
**SIDE NOTE - we do NOT call ourselves "the girls with pearls". I just think of this little group that way because a certain someone in my life always makes fun when we get together for lunch. He also sometimes calls us "The Ladies Who Lunch". I think getting together for lunch with friends you have had for years is lovely. Not at all pretentious. BUT...we are now dubbed The Girls With Pearls. Whatever.
So, I am going to share some Louis silliness with you today, since I will not have a moment to spare tomorrow.
First, let's re-visit yesterday's discussion about this horrendous FREE photo with Santa. Get ready. Here it is.....
Look at my poor little muffin!!! It looks as if Santa is trying to strangle him :( AND..he looks awful. And he is so precious (as we all know...Louis is the cutest westie of all times...just go with it friends...anyway..)!! Do you remember how nice his picture was last year? Here, let me remind you:
Clearly taken with my cell, so not all inclusive...but you get the idea. Cutie little frame. View of Santa AND Louis. I'm considering taking him back to PetSmart for another one like this. You couldn't even see his little jingle bell collar in the one above :( Everyone I've shown that picture too says "Awww....". You know how I mean. As in "aww...how pitiful does Louis look in the crappy photo". Grrrr...
On a positive note, I did find the cutest little gift bags last night while finishing up my Christmas shopping. Here, have a look!
Isn't that the most precious gift bag FOR A DOLLAR from THE DOLLAR TREE you have ever seen? It's a nice size. Not a tiny bag. And that westie makes me want to cuddle him :) They also had labs and a few other dog breeds. I can't remember all of them, but if you have special pup (and a Dollar Tree close by) I'd run out to have a look!
And, I think that's it. Louis is very much looking forward to our Friday night plans, which consist of Christmas parades and puppies tagging along in their sweaters :)
