Groundhog Day

Do you remember the movie Groundhog Day?  Well, if you don't...or if you never saw it...the premise is that Bill Murray wakes up every day to repeat the day before.  Over, and over, and over, and over, and over....

I think that somehow I have become stuck in this movie.

Every day it snows.  Every day I can't leave my house because my car (which I absolutely adore..but is a rear wheel drive and refuses to drive over even 1/27th of an inch of snow) won't cooperate.  I am going stir crazy!!!

Today I came in to work.  And guess what?  It's snowing.  Hard.  Again.

So, I'm going to have to head home so my car doesn't end up in a snow bank.

Louis wasn't able to go to daycare today due to it being closed.  He was devastated, of course:

So, I'm heading back to the house.

I apologize for my lack of interesting posts.  I feel like my brain has gone to mush, and I just can't even think right now.

I do need to fill you in on my weekend though.  And the fact that I FINALLY watched that Julie/Julia movie.  And the fact that I tried one of those "diet tacos" from Taco Bell.  And the fact that it's supposed to snow AGAIN this Friday.

Perhaps I'll head home for a cocktail, and be able to better gather my thoughts then :)

Dear DSS ... can understand about the car and snow - I once had a BMW M3 and it didn't like snow - finally sold it!

Did you see my comment in response to your question about eyes? Write me at my e-mail listed.

Wish I lived closer - I'd buy you a martini ... my new fav is a ginger martini!

Here's to hoping the snow doesn't keep you and Louis "stranded" for too much longer!

Not sure if you're a Lost fan, but tonight is actually the perfect night to be snowed in, if you are. Season premiere tonight..and if you're not already on the Lost train..you can get on it tonight :)

Hope you managed to have a martini. That always helps!
