A Sad State of Affairs

Today is a sad, sad day my friends.

My prized yellow wellies have officially died.

They have been with me through so much.

As silly as it sounds....I just can't imagine replacing them.

Some things just can't be replaced.

Just one more decision for T to make. I've got a few that I'm struggling with right now.

I saw this on Sunday, and it really hit home:

"A decision is followed by action. If you don't act you didn't decide."

So sad! I have a fun pair of yellow and navy ones that I got at Endless (link: http://tinyurl.com/5sq4jzo), and since we don't live anywhere near each other I'm comfortable sharing them with you! :)

These are actually the most comfortable rain boots I've ever owned. I'm a half size, so I went up to the 7. They actually bend at the ankle!

I hope you find a new pair of rain boots that knock your socks off totally. Hope all works out for the best as well.

Love,
Mrs. Kindergarten

Sorry about your boots!! I hope you are doing okay and just remember, everything always works out! This is the mantra I've been telling myself for several weeks now :)

I have yet to find a pair of tall rainboots that fit my calves and are comfortable. Good luck finding a new pair.

I love that saying. It is so true too. I hope you come to the right decision about the things you are working on.
Time for some new wellies!

I'm sorry about your wellies! And I don't know what kind of decisions you need to make but I will tell you to listen to your little heart and do what it tells you - even if your head doesn't want to listen...

oh, how sad!! and i'm sure a disappointment if it's been raining where you are like it has been here!

I owe my own pair of yellow rainboots and I feel your pain. Might I echo the suggestion of a pair of Hunter wellies? In a fun color, to lift your spirits on grey and glum days? Hopefully the choice of color will be the most difficult decision you have to make! :)

I so understand! I was just telling MB this weekend how tragically sad I am about my favorite pair of silver sandals that are now beyond repair. Replacing them just won't be the same. I actually think I whimpered when I first saw what happened.

LOVE the quote. Have a great, great, great day!
