I Don't Usually Snark, But....

Currently TEN and I are driving to Charleston!  I'm hoping that the weather is going to clear up, and that we are going to be able to sun our buns on Folley Beach.  Reall though, we don't care.  We just want to get away :)

But, before I go I thought I would share some snarks with you.

You're welcome ;)

T is NOT pleased with the following things:

1.  This whole Facebook change.  I read an article that says Facebook has changed in hopes of being more like Google+.  That way there won't really be a competition between the two. Are they serious?  I've had a Google+ since day one.  I've posted 2 things.  I don't like it.  Circles?  Really?  If you weren't in my circle (or at least one of my groups) I wouldn't be your Facebook friend.  The end.

2.  Vanity sizing.  Are we really THAT vain as a society that we need to wear a Size 00?  How can someone be a DOUBLE ZERO?  Zero, in and of itself, signifies that something is nothing.  Therefore a double zero would mean that a person is less than something?  I'm confused.  I tried to purchase my size in a pair of pants in NYC.  Apparently I wear a size 2 in their brand.  Come on people.  You haven't made me feel better about myself.  I'm a Size 6.  I know this.  All you did is irritate me because I had to go all the way back out into the store to find the Vanity Size you have assigned me.

3.  Group Projects at Work.  I am not in college.  I am not in high school.  I successfully graduated both.  I understand the concept of "group projects" in school.  Learning to work together.  One has to learn when to take the lead, and when to delegate.  I got it.  What I do not need is to be assigned the role of Project Manager for a group project at work, that is irrelevant to me.  One that also was assigned to someone else, but she has a reputation for being slack and has (in her usual format) delegated her responsibilities to another group of people.  I've got a lot on my plate at work right now.  I think it's time for me to be one of those slackers in group projects who always got the good grade, but never did a thing :)

In other news, I've ordered yet ANOTHER pair of less than expensive boots....in hopes that I'll be able to fool both myself, and the masses :)  Target has a bunch of boots, and the pair I was madly in love with unfortunately ended up having elastic across the back.  Ewww...why?  So, these were my second choice:

Keep your fingers crossed!  I'll be sure to fill you in.

Have a lovely weekend!

xoxo,
T

Is it awful that a little part of me likes Vanity Sizing for myself? Trust me, I have been working towards my goals of losing weight and actually BECOMING smaller, but a little help from vanity sizing boosts me up a bit on particularly blue days.

But I agree that it HAS gotten way out of hand though. I have terrible issues and like wearing a smaller size. If Kirstie Alley is in magazines claiming she is a size 6 now, something is way off.

HAVE SO MUCH FUN IN CHUCKTOWN! can't wait to read all about it and get myself excited to go there next weekend!!

the vanity sizing is a ridiculous way of trying to hide the fact that most people are overweight. It's really stupid.

I love snarky you! And yes I hate vanity sizing. I just bought a pair of size 0 petite jeans. I know I'm small, but I'm a 2 people.
