Recouping

Hello lovies!

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend.  I surely did :)  I'm still trying to recoup, and will definitely give you a play-by-play once I get caught up with work, laundry and puppy kisses!!

Louis stayed with Daisy while I was away.  He ate a pair of her shoes :(  I felt so terribly that I picked up this T for her while I was shopping on Saturday:

The pup on the T reminds me so much of Louis when he's been scolded!

I also found this little note pad:

I didn't end up buying it, but probably should have.  I know someone who deserves to have every box checked off :-o

Wednesday night was K's going away dinner.  We got together at Daisy's and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!  But still...I can't believe she's gone.  Only to Charlotte, which isn't that far away, but still....

When I look at this picture, I realize what a big hole will be left in all of our lives.  Some people are there for you during the worst of times.  And, although they may be "new" friends....they are so important because they have helped you through something really tough.  And they become so very special to you.  I know K will have success and happiness in her new home, but I sure hope she realizes how much we will miss her!

While I was on vacation, K sent me this:

( "i'm takin great care of louis!" )

And I knew Louis was one happy camper!

Wednesday night there was also a new pup in the mix.  Her name is Martini, and she is a Doberman Pinscher.  A full grown Doberman Pinscher.  I hadn't a clue how this would go over with Louis, but I should have known.  He has ANOTHER crush!  Poor Martini couldn't get away from the little guy :-o  He chased her all around, and gave her kisses.

What a little flirt Louis is!!

Martini's dad also brought some Frosty Paws for the pups to enjoy.  Have you heard of them?  I hadn't, but Louis gobbled his up!  I think my little piglet will be requesting more Frosty Paws in the future :)

Another BIG weekend for T.  And another BIG weekend for Louis.  I think this picture pretty much tells you how we BOTH feel at the moment:

So much excitement to share...but until then...

I hate it when friends move away. They just need to stay put!

I've seen those frosty paws in the store and when I said something to my husband about them he rolled his eyes at me :) I'm betting my Duke would love them as much as Louis does.
