Last night was wine group night. I missed our last meeting, so I was really glad to be able to go last night :) We learned about Rosé, and then everyone stayed late into the night to gossip and catch up. It seemed like ages since I had seen some of the girls, so I stayed much later than I should have.
Prior to the meeting I went home to let little Louis out. He then REFUSED to come back inside for supper. I think he was enjoying the glorious day as much as the rest of us. So, I brought his supper outside:
His head did not come out of the bowl until he was done. Good puppy!
When I got home from wine group I curled up on the couch with Louis to watch some TV. I like to spend some time with him when I get home (even if it's late) before putting him back into the crate to sleep. Since he has proven that he cannot be left unsupervised, sleeping in the crate has resumed.
However, during cuddle time an "incident" occurred. I blame Louis. He blames me. Hmmm...
I set the TV remote on the top of the couch. This would, I rationalized, keep the remote out of Louis' reach. He is often known to prance right over the remote and change the chanel on me. So, the remote was safe...I thought! I can't remember exactly what happened. There was some sort of scuffle that took place on the couch with Louis and I, and then....
(this would be my TV remote)
I wonder how much replacement TV remotes cost? Currently mine is being somewhat held together with Duct Tape. It looks really ghetto.
On a bright note, I have discovered that I L-O-V-E this song:
Here's the thing...you know how I'm always saying that I wish I could sing? I'm not speaking of singing Ave Maria or anything. I could never be that blessed, and I get it. This, my friends, is what I want to sing. If I were a singer I would sing this pop crap. Seriously. I would also beat up Miley Cyrus and start singing Party in the USA :) I think what I'm saying is that I want to be a teeny bopper. I'm not sure exactly when I realized this. All I can say is that when I hear these songs I want to open the sunroof and press the gas pedal much further down than I ought to.
And in closing,
Louis is very, very sad:
Why you ask? Well, he doesn't think everyone has entered MY 100TH FOLLOWER GIVEAWAY which you can read about HERE!! All entries must be received by THURSDAY, APRIL 15TH, 2010 AT 5PM. This also happens to be Babbo Natale's Birthday :)
