Louis is a West Highland White Terrier

The hardy West Highland White Terrier, more commonly known as the "Westie," is known for its friendly, strong-willed personality and a remarkably bright white coat. Said to be "all terrier," this breed possesses a large amount of spunk, determination and devotion stuffed into a compact little body. - from the American Kennel Club Website

If I had to write a description of my Westie it would say this:

Loves to snuggle more than anything in the world.  Definite lap dog.  Does not like to be brushed or groomed.  Give kisses constantly.  Accepts kisses on occasion.  Would eat constantly if allowed to.  Will not listen to any commands, unless "treat" is involved in the request at some point.  Enjoys doggie day care two times per week, but would rather sit on his mommy's lap 24/7 if that was an option.

(Surprisingly, Louis is quite the fan of his little red raincoat...and wears it proudly when the weather is dreary)
