Blah, Blah, Blah

My Hokies lost the Orange Bowl last night.  I don't want to talk about it.

(BFF and I attempting to play "redneck" with some poor soul's truck)

Graceful segway into another topic, wouldn't you say?  Let's talk about what I've cooked lately, and why it is that I cannot fit into any of my presh outfits.  First, I'll tell you about this homemade macaroni and cheese.

It was pretty good.  I would have liked it to be "cheesier", but that probably would defeat the purpose of making it "reduced calorie", wouldn't it?  Whatever.  It was pretty good.  If you were planning to feed 12 people.  Otherwise, it's a bit much.  I have had macaroni and cheese leftovers for the last week.

Next, we have our New Years Eve Day supper.

Mmmm Mmmm Good.

I really can't say enough about how delish this was.  AND....it was much better for you than the good ol':

Geezzz...these are LOADED with fat.  Sheesh.  I will never eat one again now that I know I can make something just as tasty for 1/4 the fat!  If you want the recipe, message me.

I know you will understand, but I'm saving Louis' dog park adventures for tomorrow.  It is, after all, going to be Westie Wednesday.

I do have a little something special for you though.  Do you remember me telling you that I went to Smalltown, VA's Christmas Parade?  Do you remember that I didn't have any pictures to share?  Well, that's because they were on my camera, and I kept forgetting to download them!  Now I have.  Control yourself, it's pretty exciting!

Pretty spectacular, wouldn't you say?  I mean come on.  The mail man showed up.  That's impressive :)  Chick Fil A cows, the water authority and the mail man.  Doesn't get any better than that!

I have just realized that I haven't a single picture from New Years Eve.  Isn't that a travesty?  Other friends have all of the pictures.  For some reason they are hesitant to post them.  I can't imagine why?  Hmmm.... I sure hope I have some to share with you.  Because it was a rather festive evening :)

And in closing, I promise this is not going to become a cooking blog.  Or a dog blog.  It's just having an identity crisis at the moment.  Much like it's owner.

Until tomorrow,

T
