Louis milked his birthday for all it was worth. I think he really did know it was his birthday. He was very demanding, and I obliged. He met a new little girl last night, and he snuggled with her. Bunches. I enjoyed a delish dinner in honor of Louis' birthday, and spent some QT with a dear friend. And then...a lightning storm came to town. Poor little Louis is apparently not a fan. He started shaking and hid his head under a blanket :-o How did I not know this about my little pup? Poor baby.
Tonight I was invited to attend a little cocktail soirée to welcome some new people to Smalltown, VA. I picked out my outfit this morning. It's bright, and flirty and just perfect if you ask me :) I'm somewhat excited. Meeting new people is always a treat...especially around here!

I'm not much a shopper these days for clothes, but then when all you do is go to work and come home who needs spiffy clothes...lol

Awww There were a couple dresses I wanted, but not in my size either. Boooo I did get a dress (Stephanie Shift) and the trouble hibiscus" desk set (one of my fav prints). Luckily I shop it all the time, so i have the quick check out now button. Their past sale, I ended up with zilch.
Aww poor Louis! Momma B's dog (huge lab) is afraid of storms too (hides under bed like an ostrich because she's too big). I always feel bad for her.
