I've Just Crawled Out From Under This Here Rock

The Help has been made into a movie.  You are aware of this, correct?

Good.  I'm so glad :)

I, on the other hand, was just made aware.  Hmph.

mrs.mfc swears that we have discussed this.  That we have gone so far as to talk about the casting choices.  I do believe mrs.mfc's pregnancy is affecting her memory.  Just sayin.

In the end, it doesn't matter if I did know about this at one point.  Because I didn't know about it this morning.  And then I saw the trailer.  And now I want that movie to be out right now.  Because I want to see it.  Immediately.

Have you seen the trailer?  Has anyone else been under a rock?

"She's wearing a tight red sweater and a red skirt and enough makeup to scare a hooker."  — Kathryn Stockett (The Help)

I cannot wait!

I am almost CERTAIN that we discussed it. AND even if we didn't... you've still been living under a rock because this movie has been talked about everywhere!! Not just recently (hello, there are already tv commercials for it) but also wayyy back. When the movie was first announced everyone was talking about it. Then when they started announcing the cast everyone was talking about it. living.under.a.rock.

I feel like I've been living under a major rock because all of a sudden I'm hearing about this everywhere, but I have no clue what it's about!! ..well until now!
Have a great weekend!

I haven't read the book yet, but even my Grandma was talking about this movie!

She was in her southern housewife heyday when this book was set so she's all about it.

Just read on Hopsy's blog that the movie follows the book without any changes. I am SO excited to see it! I had the book for a year and just read it this spring--when I heard about the movie. It will be fabulous!
