My Angels

I went shopping for my Angel Tree Child last night.  He is called Casey, and he's 3 months old.  I really should sponsor children throughout the year, but it seems that it only occurs to me at Christmas time.  Perhaps that should be one of my New Year's Resolutions this year :)

Anyway, I found all of these lovely little outfits and such at Target.  And then I bought a box of 96 diapers.  I thought that should keep him set for a while, but apparently not.  Who knew that babies use THAT many diapers?  Not this girl.

This year I also picked out an Angel Tree Puppy :)  He is called Pax, and here is his picture:

He told me his favorite food, and treats and toys...and I bought them for him :)  Doesn't he just look like the most snuggly pups ever?  His HUMONGOUS bag of dog food is currently in the back seat of my car, and Louis tried to eat his way into it yesterday :-o  For shame!

With all of my shopping behind me (thank goodness!!!), tonight I'm looking forward to a fire and a cocktail or two while I wrap Christmas gifts.  I've got to rest up, because tomorrow night is Smalltown, VA's Christmas Parade AND THEN Saturday is the Christmas Cocktail Crawl.

Bring on the festivities!!

Way to spread the cheer. It's hard to believe that a baby needs so much. I am sure his parents are thankful.

A puppy angel tree? That's such a wonderful idea! This year our church tree didn't provide much information on the tags, so my gifts were pretty generic.

What is the Angel child/pup thing? I am always late on these things! I really wanted to do the thing where you answer letters to Santa through the USPS but I missed the deadline. I'm so bad this year!
