Naughty! Naughty!

I have been naughty :(  I have been very, very naughty.

What has T done you want to know?

I've just purchased myself this:

Le Creuset 4.5 Quart Rectangular Casserole with Lid in Cobalt
I'm supposed to be shopping for OTHERS, and here I've gone and bought myself this!  Mind you, I did purchase it from CSNstores.  And mind you, I DID have a $35 Gift Card from CSNstores (thank you again Laurnie!), so I really didn't spend all that much.  Right?  Le sigh.

I really did NEED this casserole though.  I have one that is 8x10.  I NEEDED one that was deeper and would serve as a 9x13.  And this fits the bill :)  So...there you have it.  I feel much better now.  Thank you.

Moving right along....Friday night we went to Smalltown, VA's Christmas Parade.  My camera didn't take very good pictures, but I'll try to upload some tomorrow.  After the parade we decided to duck into a small restaurant to warm up before heading to the car.  I was flipping through a local magazine, when I saw this!

I know it's kindove blurry, but the girl is leaning on her elbow in a somewhat "seductive" manner, and for heaven's sake.....please read her byline!!!  EGADS.  Her mother must be so proud.  I whipped out my cell and took a picture immediately.  I just had to share.  Can you imagine?!??!!

After I recovered from the shock of this nonsense in our sweet little Smalltown, VA local mag we had a bite to eat.  Then, home to make a fire and defrost!

Saturday I was up and about quite early.  We went to a wine tasting at a local wine shop, and purchased a few bottles to enjoy.  When I got home I had received some Christmas cards in the mail.  I stopped dead in my tracks when I opened this one:

Inappropriate for the blog?  Perhaps.  But again...I had to share.  I was so taken aback that I started laughing uncontrollably.  I was trying to explain what I was laughing about, but I couldn't get my breath!  Needless to say, I had to snap a photo to show everyone I came across.  A dear friend sent this, and if you knew him you would completely understand how perfect this card really is!

After I recovered, it was off to the Christmas Cocktail Crawl!  Always a festive event :)

(me, BFF & S)

(b&w herringbone overload :)

(what have we here?  my antlers seem to have gotten away from me!)

Sunday morning I had grand brunch plans, but I didn't quite make it there.  So, I made a ham & cheese omelet with bacon on the side when I finally got myself up and about.  Louis was extra snuggly on Sunday, and what's a girl to do?  A snuggly puppy clearly overrides any other potential activities for the day...

I do stuff like that all the time. When I try to do Christmas shopping I find more stuff that I want to buy myself.

That Christmas card is too funny! Sounds like a fun weekend. Enjoy your new casserole dish. It's beautiful (is that a weird word to use when describing a casserole dish?) I love love love Le Creuset and CSN stores.

I pretty much buy at least 1 thing for myself for every 1 thing I buy for someone else ;)
