And..... yours truly was the BIG WINNER of the evening :) With our group we give a prize for the biggest winner, and we also give a prize for the biggest loser. That way the biggest loser still feels like a winner :)
This is becoming problematic though, as the people who keep ending up in the middle (and not winning a prize) are now feeling like the losers. What to do?
Barbie started the evening feeling quite confident:
Sadly, she ended up in the middle. No prize for Barbie. And she pouted. She has never won a prize. Clearly we need to remedy this.
The Voice of Reason, IT & Babbo Natale are quite sure that THEY are going to win this evening:
Babbo Natale was almost right! She and I had to have a Bunc-off!
I emerged victorious:
I was given the BIG WINNER prize. It was a yummy smelling candle, note cards, refrigerator magnets and a note pad. I really hit the jackpot!
MC was our BIGGEST LOSER. She is new to our group, and she wasn't even aware that she would receive a prize for biggest loser!
Overall, a splendid evening. IT had the most delish chicken chili for us to snack on, and I MUST get the recipe. I simply must. It was so good that I had two bowls. Shhh...don't tell :-o
Tonight is the Membership Drive for the #1 Young Professionals Organization in Smalltown, VA! Free cocktails and heavy hors d' oeuvres from 6-9 in a neat museum. Unfortunately it's overcast and chilly, and I haven't a clue what I will wear. Hmmm....

I heard that Bunco is a blast, but I don't know anyone in NY that plays!
I love Bunko Night! Looks like y'all had a bunch of fun. I need to get a group together where I live.
I want to play! MCW, if you move to DC we will have to form a group :)
I thought Bunko was called Drunko! I have a feeling it could have been for you ladies! All the more fun! Congrats on winning!!! ;)
I sure like Babbo Natale's outfit! Our bunco group gave three prizes (we played for cash after we tired of prizes). We all put in 5 dollars. The most buncos got the big prize ($25) and the game winner was next ($20) then the most bincos got $10 and the loser always got her money back--$5.
I've always wanted to play Bunco! Our local group said they don't need new members though...sad. :( ha!
To be perfectly honest, I had never heard of Bunco until the Real Housewives played it in Orange County. When I got to Germany, I found a lot of girls in my spouses' association who love it. We did it as one of our events here and we also gave a prize for the biggest winner and the biggest loser.
Another fun night with your friends. What a social life! I am envious.
