What a week it has been for Louis Wellington! Our sweet friend Julep left to go back to her house with her family.
Then, TEN and I left to go here:
...and didn't take Louis. Even though there was a fenced in yard. Because TEN's dad was bringing his 2 dogs (a husky & and a german shepherd) who are not great fans of Louis.
And so, Louis spent time with his friends at The Klub. He was there for 4 days, so when we showed up Sunday night he was ready to come home. When we got home, he checked out the house to make sure that Julep wasn't hiding somewhere. Once he was assured he was the only pup on the property, he promptly went to sleep.
When he woke up, I showed him a little prize that his nana sent to him with my birthday gift. He, of course, snatched it from my hand and hasn't put it down since. Well, except to pose for this photo:
Monday night TEN and I took Louis on a little hike to this place:
And, I have to say that I wish I had my camera/video camera. There is something about a westie's rear end, when they are walking in a determined and quick fashion, that must be one of the cutest things ever.
It's as if their back legs are stiff, and their bottom just bobs up and down. And then....when they decide to pick up the pace it's as if a bunny materializes. And they don't bother to bend their back legs. They just move together in a hopping motion.
I giggled myself silly.
Oh, Louis also wanted me to tell you that he's got a hair appointment on Friday. Yes, he called it a hair appointment. He's been hanging with his mummy too much I think? Anyway, we're going to try to lose the skirt and trim up his face a bit. And hopefully we'll tone down the "puff" on the end of his tail that resulted after he was shaved (after he was attached at day care). You remember.
So, we'll have some lovely photos to show you next week I'm sure!
Westie Licks,
T & Louis

Love that lake house!!!
how could they not like Louis? my dog is actually the same way though- she is quite the anti-social lady
lake house looks amazing!
Enjoyed all the photo's - can't wait to see Louis after his puppy pampering session - don't cut to much of the furnishings - he should have some ... but his tail should be trimmed like a carrot with a flat back ... in any event, he will look adorable!
Can't wait to see Louis after his beauty shop apt.
The lake house looks awesome!
