"WOOT!"......"WOOO!"

Jazzercise....let's discuss...

Have you been?  Are you a fan?

Marilyn Monroe and I have been going on Monday nights, and I rather thought I liked it.  Well, other than the "woot!" - "woo!" call and repeat that makes my skin crawl.  I don't understand it. The instructor yells "woot!" and the class yells "woo!" I refuse to participate. Obviously.

This jazzercise that we are doing.  This is NOT your momma's jazzercise class let me tell you.

Our class looks a bit more like this:

(do you see how everyone is doing something different???)

We had a new instructor this week and she was SOMETHING.  I'm not sure if she was hopped up on diet pills, or perhaps had about 20 more Diet Cokes than I do a day, but something was amiss.  She was yelling into her little Wendy's Drive Through headset so loudly that we couldn't make out a word.  This is quite troubling in jazzercise, as the idea is that she is giving us instructions.

Picture this:  We are all moving at a very high rate of speed.  No one can understand what the instructor is saying.  Our legs are kicking to the side, only we are all moving in the wrong direction.  No. Good. Friends.  No good.  I don't know how many people I kicked.  I think I also punched someone with a weight.  Oops.  Clearly not my fault.

After class, Marilyn Monroe drug me to the grocery store.  We were a sight for sore eyes I tell you.  Nothing like going grocery shopping after exercise class.  So many reasons this is wrong, but mostly because I scared 3 small children.  I think it was my hair.  Then there was the $250 grocery bill.  For one person.  No filets included.  Hungry, hungry hippo :(

After shopping we went back to Marilyn Monroe's house and celebrated my birthday with a glass of wine on her patio, and a whole bunch of prezzies!!  She spoiled me rotten (she always does), and I just adore everything she gave me.  She is the one who has been giving me so many of these little quotes you have been seeing, and for my birthday she gave me a little box full of them!!!  I can't wait to share them with you :)

Last night was mani/pedi night with The Voice of Reason.  You know, there is a reason that I have given her this name.  She truly IS the voice of reason.  We gossiped and caught up and she's got me back on the straight and narrow.  No more sweating the small stuff for this girl!  Smiles all around, please and thank you :)

Then I started packing for...................

Pink Ribbon Polo Cup

There are few things in life I love more than this event!  Not only is it a fundraiser for a good cause.  Not only is it an excuse to buy a new pink frock.  Not only is it POLO on the lawn of the most beautiful house ever.  Not only do we do a wine trek on the second day of our weekend.  Not only do I attend this event with the coolest people ever.  Not only.....okay, you get the point.  Anyway.  It's tops.  Truly it is!

So, there is much going on in my little word these days!  I have other exciting shenanigans taking place this week, but I had better save them for later or I won't have anything else to share.

Happy Hump Day Friends!

I use to do jazzercise when I lived at home with my parents. That class would kill me. I always thought it would be simple, but thats not the case. I just wasn't blessed with the jeans to bounce in rhythm...let alone do any other maneuvers. But I was a huge fan, it added something new to my workout routine!!

I would not yell Woo either! I get mad in Yoga when everyone breathes and hummm loudly. Freaks me out.
